Two easy ways to get that model-off-duty hair: hair up edition

Get Ready for the Next Heat Wave with these Model-Off-Duty Summer Hair Styles

When summer temperatures hit new highs, how do you get model-off-duty hair while surviving the heat? Here's a couple easy looks you can get with just a couple hair elastics and bobby pins.

Suns Out Buns Out

If you're rocking some natural hair at the moment, this is the perfect look to show off your cheekbones and keep your hair up high so you can look and feel cool in the blistering heat.

Get the Look: Make sure your curls are soft and hydrated (Have you tried our Bio-Cleansing Conditioner or our Hydrating Masque?) To get a sharp middle part, try using a pin point comb. Use elastics to secure your hair, and you're all set!

The Hadid Topknot

We regularly see Bella sporting variations of this topknot, both on and off the red carpet. She's worn it pulled back super tight and chic, long hair short hair and everywhere in between.

Get the Look: The easiest way to get this look is to first do a basic ponytail at the crown of your head. If you have a lot of hair and struggle to get your ponytail perfect, do a half up style first, securing it with an elastic, and then use a second elastic to tie up the bottom of your hair.

Twist your hair and secure with bobby pins and you're all set.

Option 2: If you want an equally chic option, try putting the bun low at the nape of your neck instead of at the crown of your head.

All these options are so flexible and easily dressed up or down with the addition of hair accessories like jeweled bobby pins, hair scarves or summer's current hottest throwback item, silk scrunchies.
